ABSTRACT:
Madhuca longifolia, a member of the Sapotaceae family, is sometimes known as "mahua." It's a significant economic resource that can be found throughout India. Mahua is a tree that is highly nutritious and can also serve as a natural medicine for many different diseases. The current study reviews past research on mahua flower, fruit, and seed and focuses on how mahua flower might be used to add value. Mahua is abundant in sugar, vitamins, proteins, alkaloids, phenolic compounds, and other chemicals according to phytochemistry research. Mahua's ethnomedical properties, including its antibacterial, antihyperglycemic, anticancer, hepatoprotective, antiulcer, or analgesic effects, have been well studied.
